When installing the expansion sleeve, the first thing to do is to clean the surface of the joint to make it free of dirt, corrosion and damage.

                                       2. Apply a thin layer of lubricating oil evenly on the cleaned surface of the expansion sleeve and the surface of the joint.

                                       3. Push the connected part to the shaft to reach the position specified by the design.

4.Smoothly insert the expansion sleeve of the loosened screw into the coupling hole, to prevent the inclination of the joint, and then tighten the screw by hand.

When disassembling the expansion sleeve 1, loosen all the screws first when disassembling, but do not unscrew all the screws.

2.Remove the galvanized screw and washer, screw the pulled out screw into the auxiliary screw hole of the front compression ring, gently tap the head of the pulled out screw to loosen the expansion sleeve, and then pull the screw to remove it. The expansion sleeve is pulled out.

After installation, apply a layer of anti-rust grease to the exposed end surface of the expansion sleeve and the screw head. In the open-air operation or the machine with a poor working environment, the end surface of the exposed expansion sleeve should be regularly coated with anti-rust grease. Expansion sleeves working in corrosive media should adopt special protection (such as a cover plate) to prevent the expansion sleeves from rusting.
