Couplings and clutches are mainly different from:

       1. Couplings and clutches are mainly used to connect two shafts into one body to transmit torque or movement. The clutch can be engaged and disengaged while working, but the coupling cannot.

        2. The requirements for the use of couplings and clutches are that they should be able to adjust the offset between the two shafts, be able to absorb shock and vibration, and transmit a large torque.
        3. Couplings include sleeve coupling, flange coupling (rigid fixed); gear coupling (rigid movable): elastic ring pin coupling, nylon pin coupling (flexible Mobile).Rigid components cannot absorb shock and vibration, while elastic components can absorb shock and vibration; movable and fixed refer to the ability to compensate for offset.
        4. Commonly used clutches have two types: jaw type and friction type. The jaw clutch transmits large torque and can strictly ensure that the two shafts rotate together. The size is compact, but the clutch is difficult. The friction clutch engages smoothly and conveniently, and has a protective effect, but it cannot guarantee the same speed of the two shafts.
